Doppler Echocardiogram
This non-invasive
and painless procedure utilizes ultrasound (sound waves) to take moving
pictures of your heart. It helps your cardiologist determine the size
of your heart chambers, the appearance and motion of your heart valves,
and how forcefully blood moves in and out of your heart.
Doppler Echocardiograms
are performed at the following VCS Offices: Boulders VI, Hanover Medical Park, Henrico Doctors’ Hospital-Forest, Hopewell, and Reynolds Crossing.
